Music and dance may be universal languages, but the Bellamy Brothers have taken one extra step to make sure their lyrical (and leering) message comes through loud and clear. They have done their latest music video -- "A Vertical Expression (of Horizontal Desire)" -- in three different versions: English, English/Spanish and English/Portuguese.

Freddy Fender appears in and sings the translated lyrics for the English/Spanish edition, while Brazilian favorite Eduardo Araujo does the same for the English/Portuguese take. The Bellamys stick to English in all three renderings.

"A Vertical Expression (Of Horizontal Desire)," a David Bellamy composition, is the second single from the duo's Lonely Planet album.

Directed by Paul Hudson, the videos were shot in Albuquerque, N.M., with a cast of dancers from the National Conservancy of Flamenco Arts.

The video will be sent to music outlets throughout the world, according to a spokesperson for Blue Hat/Bellamy Brothers Records. Aristo Video Promotions, which is handling domestic distribution for the project, will service a single video with all three versions on it to more than 100 U. S. channels and regional shows.

CMT began programming the video this week.
