Nashville's most successful duo hits the top of the country albums and singles charts this week, but a solo artist is proving that his grassroots following continues to gain ground outside Texas.

Selling 114,000 in its first week of release, Brooks & Dunn's Red Dirt Road debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums. Additionally, the title track tops the trade publication's Hot Country Singles & Tracks after 16 weeks on the chart.

However, the bigger news is Texas-based singer-songwriter Pat Green's debut at No. 2 on the country albums chart with his new project, Wave on Wave. Building on his regional success, the title track also climbs to No. 24 on the country singles chart.

Notably, both Brooks & Dunn and Green debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, a chart monitoring all styles of music. The Bad Boys II soundtrack debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, followed by Chingy's Jackpot. Red Dirt Road enters the all-genre chart at No. 4, and Wave on Wave appears at No. 10.

Elsewhere on the country singles chart, Alan Jackson's duet with Jimmy Buffett, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," leaps four slots to No. 2, and Brad Paisley's "Celebrity" takes a one-position jump to No. 3. Descending at fourth and fifth place, respectively, are two recent chart-toppers -- Lonestar's "My Front Porch Looking In" and Toby Keith's collaboration with Willie Nelson on "Beer for My Horses." Kenny Chesney's "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" rises one level to No. 6, Shania Twain's "Forever and For Always" hops two spaces to No. 7 and Jimmy Wayne's "Stay Gone" falls three slots to No. 8. The two newest entries in the Top 10 are Tim McGraw's "Real Good Man" at No. 9 and Brian McComas' "99.9% Sure (I've Never Been Here Before)" at No. 10.

Diamond Rio score the highest-debuting country single of the week. "Wrinkles," a track from their Completely album, arrives at No. 44. Newcomer Jennifer Hanson's "Half a Heart Tattoo" enters the chart at No. 53, but the other new singles are from familiar names. Charting at Nos. 55-58, respectively, are Sawyer Brown's "I'll Be Around," Hank Williams Jr.'s "I'm One of You," Dwight Yoakam's "The Late Great Golden State" and Steve Wariner's "I'm Your Man."

Following Brooks & Dunn and Green on the country albums chart, Keith's Unleashed holds steady at No. 3. Lonestar's From There to Here: Greatest Hits falls two posts to No. 4, and Trace Adkins' Greatest Hits Collection, Volume 1 slides to No. 5 after debuting last week at No. 1. Twain's Up! remains level at No. 6, George Strait's Honkytonkville moves downward two slots to No. 7 and Chesney's No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems drops one notch to No. 8. Taking a more dramatic drop is Buddy Jewell's self-titled debut album, which moves from No. 4 to No. 9. Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors spends a second week at No. 10.

A trio of bluegrass music veterans made an impressive showing on the country albums chart. The Three Pickers -- featuring Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson and Ricky Skaggs -- debuts at No. 36. And Joe Ely enters the chart at No. 51 with his latest, Streets of Sin.
