Fifteen live performances from Johnny Horton's appearances on the Louisiana Hayride radio show will be released on
April 6. A member of the Hayride roster from 1952 until his death in 1960, Horton is best known for his 1959 hit, "Battle
of New Orleans." He was killed by a drunk driver following a show in Austin, Texas. Other recent live Hayride releases
feature Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash and George Jones. A Faron Young set is due in May.
