Original artwork by
CMT Insider host Katie Cook and
CMT Top Twenty Countdown host Lance Smith are included in
a celebrity poll to pick the design for the ticket of NASCAR's biggest race, the 50th running of the Daytona 500. Some of
the most famous names in sports and entertainment, including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Foxworthy and Kelly Ripa, have created
original artwork inspired by the race, and the public is invited to vote on which celebrity design will appear on the 2008
Daytona 500 ticket. The Top 10 celebrity designs will be announced June 15. A blue ribbon judging panel will unveil the 2008
Daytona 500 ticket live from Daytona International Speedway on July 5. All original celebrity artwork will be auctioned online
to benefit the Jeff Gordon Foundation.
