Tim McGraw's Tour Dates Announced
Emotional Traffic Shows Run April Through August

Dates for Tim McGraw's 2011 Emotional Traffic tour were announced Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 12). Luke Bryan and The Band Perry ("If I Die Young") will be the guests on the tour which begins April 8 in Corpus Christi, Texas, and concludes Aug. 13 in Washington, D.C.

Tickets go on sale Saturday (Dec. 15) for shows in Corpus Christi, Texas, Savannah, Ga., Bossier City, La., and Wichita, Kan. Other on-sale dates will be announced later.

McGraw revealed his intentions for a 2011 tour on Jan. 3 but did not divulge any specific tour dates at that time. In addition to the Emotional Traffic tour schedule, McGraw and his band, the Dancehall Doctors, will perform at the Houston Rodeo on March 7 and appear as numerous summer music festivals.

McGraw was named the top touring act in country music by Billboard in 2010. Last year he also issued a double-disc career compilation titled Number One Hits, which featured "Felt Good on My Lips" as a bonus track. McGraw stars in the new film, Country Strong, which was released nationally on Friday (Jan. 7).
