After slipping into second place last week, Lionel Richie's Tuskegee bounces back to the top of the current Billboard albums chart on sales of 128,533 copies, Nielsen SoundScan reports.
That's a gain of 33,315 copies over the number Richie sold the week before and is likely explained by the exposure of his music on his recent prime-time special. The grand total for the three weeks his album has been out is 422,857.
Blake Shelton's "Drink on It" moves up to become this week's No. 1 song.
There are three new albums: Jason Eady's AM Country Heaven (No. 40), Trace Adkins' 10 Great Songs (No. 55) and Anne Murray's 10 Great Songs: Inspirational Classics (No. 68).
Coming back to the chart the various-artists Country Strong: More Music From the Motion Picture (No. 71) and Loretta Lynn's All Time Gospel Favorites (No. 74).
Songs making their debut this week are Keith Urban's "For You" (No. 47), Taylor Swift's "Eyes Open" (No. 51), Scotty McCreery's "Water Tower Town" (No. 54) and Greg Bates' "Did It for the Girl"(No. 57).
The No. 2 through No. 5 albums are Rascal Flatts' Changed (last week's No. 1), Luke Bryan's Tailgates & Tanlines, Eric Church's Chief and Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party, in that order.
Lined up behind Shelton's "Drink on It" within the Top 5 songs parade are Lee Brice's "A Woman Like You" (last week's No. 1), Lady Antebellum's "Dancin' Away With My Heart," Miranda Lambert's "Over You" and Rascal Flatts' "Banjo."
