And, yes, Red continues to crown the Billboard 200 all-genres chart, too, as it has from the start. This past week, Red sold 196,225 copies, bringing its total sales, by Nielsen SoundScan's count, to 1.7 million units.
There are two new albums to report: John Denver's The Classic Christmas Album (entering at No. 54) and the multi-artist package Country Christmas: 10 Great Songs (No. 64). Returning to the chart are Joey & Rory's His and Hers (No. 73) and Lyle Lovett's Release Me (No. 74).
Currently, there are six Christmas titles on the albums chart.
Alas, no new songs have cropped up this week. But there are four re-entries: Kix Brooks' "Bring It on Home" (No. 46), Rodney Atkins' "Just Wanna Rock n' Roll" (No. 47), Faith Hill's "American Heart" (No. 48) and Florida Georgia Line's "Get Your Shine On" (No. 49).
The No. 2 through No. 5 albums are Jason Aldean's Night Train, Lady Antebellum's On This Winter Night, Little Big Town's Tornado and Blake Shelton's Cheers, It's Christmas, in that order.
Rounding out the Top 5 songs are Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise," Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away," Luke Bryan's "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" and Hunter Hayes' "Wanted."
