Building a career in music is no easy task, but Cassadee Pope is giving fans a rare behind-the-scenes look at her life after being named the season three winner of The Voice.
Cassadee Pope: Frame by Frame, a new six-episode series documenting her work as a country music newcomer, premieres Oct. 4 on CMT.
Pope gained national attention with her pop-rock background while working on Blake Shelton's Team Blake on The Voice. In the process of competing on the reality series, she quickly rediscovered her roots and topped the iTunes charts with three country performances.
Shortly after her fan-voted victory, the 24-year-old Florida native signed a recording contact with Republic Nashville and began working on her debut album with renowned music producers Dann Huff, Nathan Chapman, Max Martin and Shellback. Titled Frame by Frame, the project is set for release Oct. 8.
Cassadee Pope: Frame by Frame will reveal an intimate look into what it's like to be an aspiring artist in the music industry. For Pope, it's an endless barrage of hard work, including cross-country travel and unexpected twists of fate. Behind-the-scenes footage captures her recording her first solo music video, performing at the CMT Music Awards and releasing her first single, "Wasting All These Tears," which immediately catapulted to No. 1 on the iTunes country songs. The series also documents her time on the road as the opening act on Rascal Flatts' Live & Loud tour with The Band Perry.
"My fans are the ones who gave me this incredible opportunity to create country music, and I want to ensure they are a part of this incredible journey," Pope said.
