What's in a name? Well, a lot if you ask Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy. The couple recently revealed to People magazine they've yet to pick a middle name for their newest addition Knox.
And they might be stressing about it just a little. The singer says they "turned in the paperwork as just Knox Bentley," but he hopes they'll have a middle name picked out "soon enough."
The baby boy joins older sisters Evelyn Day, 5, and Jordan Catherine, 2. (Great middle names, by the way.) They're both adjusting well to their new baby brother. In fact, everything at the Bentley home is going swimmingly -- everything except for Knox's sleep schedule.
However, the country star joked to CMT Radio that he's more than prepared.
"Oh, I sleep great! I've got ear plugs, a bottle of wine and sleeping pills -- I'm out. ... Oh, everyone else?" he said with a laugh. "No, I'm kidding."
That's what we thought. Bentley admits what every parent already knows about welcoming a baby into their home.
"Yeah, it's hard," he said. "We're doing pretty good. My wife, she's a trooper. I don't know how she does it. You get two hour blocks of sleep. You sleep in two-hour blocks."
But if this is the biggest parenting conundrum they're currently experiencing, I'd say things are going well.
"One kid changes your whole life," he told People. "Two is crazy. [With] three, you already know what to do so you don't stress the little things so much."
For Bentley and his brood, it's time to sit back and enjoy the beautiful ride.
