Martina McBride will deliver her renditions of 14 classic songs on Everlasting, an album she'll release on her own label on March 4.

Selections include Sam Cooke's "Bring It on Home to Me," which she recorded with pop star Gavin DeGraw. Other R&B staples include "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man," "If You Don't Know Me by Now" and "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted."

She also recorded classics by Elvis Presley, Van Morrison and the Supremes. The original versions of the songs reportedly stretch from 1955 to 2010, although no track listing has been announced.

McBride recorded the album in Nashville at Blackbird Studios with producer Don Was. She will release it on her own label through Kobalt label services.

"These songs have beautiful melodies and emotional lyrics, which is basically all you can ask for as a singer," McBride says. "While this is a bit of a departure for me song-wise, stylistically I approached these songs the way I always have, which is singing with as much soul and emotion as I possibly can.

"I think my fans will love this record because they are some of the best songs of all time done in a very classic style. I'm so excited for them to hear it and to take this record, complete with a horn section, on the road in the spring."

McBride is currently touring with her Joy of Christmas show. She released her prior album, Eleven, on Oct. 11, 2011, on Republic Nashville. She released an album of country classics titled Timeless in 2005.
