When someone wins a reality TV show, you feel like you know her. But with Danielle Bradbery, there was no way of knowing what she was capable of until after The Voice.

But on her CMT Listen Up performance, you can really get a feel for the kind of artist Bradbery will be in the years to come -- soulful, a little edgy and deeply country. Definitely deeper than I was expecting from a teenage reality show sweetheart.

I guess I should've known she had it in her when she debuted with "The Heart of Dixie." You can see that one in Bradbery's exclusive five-song performance. It is not -- as the title might have you think -- a song about the good ol' rural life. It's about a woman (Dixie) who has fight and fire and leaves her no-good, drunk of a man.

Bradbery also tackles issue like falling in love way too fast in "Never Like This," the allure of dangerous bad boys you can't tame in "Wild Boy," a rebellious need to sneak out with a forbidden love in "Talk About Love" and one breezy, youthful anthem that revels in hopeful optimism in "My Day."

Anyone curious to hear the artist Bradbery has become in the eight months since winning season four of The Voice should listen up. You can even do it right on your iPhone if you download the free CMT Artists App. It's an app Bradbery loves both as an artist and as a country fan.

"Now I can keep up with all of my favorite artists, discover new ones and even speak directly to my fans whenever and however I want to," she said. "That's pretty cool."
