No, she's not being inducted -- not yet, anyway -- but Miranda Lambert is about to sparkle and sashay her way into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in a brand new exhibit.
Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access will feature an assortment of her gorgeous gowns, stage costumes, awards and a heck of a lot more commemorating a year in the life of the Grammy-winning superstar.
"The Country Music Hall of Fame is a place to cherish what country music is all about," she said in announcing the news. "I'm so honored to have an exhibit in this treasured hall."
Apparently, she's set to narrate it all using her own tweets. That's a novel idea!
A few of Lambert's treasures have already been displayed at the museum in downtown Nashville. As a frequent visitor to the Hall of Fame, I'm pretty sure I recall seeing Lambert's handwritten lyrics to "White Liar" at some point and getting super giddy.
But this will be bigger and better. I'm crossing my fingers there will be a whole section dedicated to the feisty female trailblazer -- hopefully similar to some of the other recent exhibits. Carrie Underwood: The Blown Away Tour and Reba: All the Women I Am also gave us a behind-the-scenes peek of everything from glorious wardrobe items to pieces of their tour sets for fans to see up close.
I mean, who doesn't want to get that close to one of the many famed red dresses McEntire wore to perform "Fancy"? And you still can. Her exhibit continues through June 8. (Underwood's ended in November.)
But now it's Lambert's turn to shine in the museum. I wonder just what we'll see.
Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access opens May 16 and runs through Nov. 9.
