Technically, yes. Carrie Underwood did wear one black dress at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday (May 18) night. But other than that splash of black (thanks to the shimmery open-neck Jill Stuart dress), most of the best-dressed country singers were glamorously colorful with their styles for the annual celebration of chart-topping music.

Underwood's Oriett Domenech red carpet gown was drop dead gorgeous. The bright yellow dress -- with gray lace overlays -- was a sunny way to walk into the show. And Miranda Lambert's simple little pink dress from the Georges Hobeika Signature Collection brightened up her arrival and showed off her healthier-than-ever body.

Lambert slipped into a haute hippie jumpsuit to watch the show, then changed into something edgy for her "Somethin' Bad" performance with Underwood. Lambert wore a teeny tiny Mason by Michelle Mason skirt, a Christian Benner shirt, a Shelly Caudill jacket and shoes from her own line.

Country newcomer Lucy Hale kept things classy but fresh in a summery sleeveless Alex Perry pencil dress in navy, yellow and pink lace.

And even the men brought some award-winning pieces to the show.

Luke Bryan wore a red leather warm-up jacket during his performance with Florida Georgia Line, when they were decked out in Kingbaby and David Yurman jewels. And earlier in the night, when FGL's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley walked the red carpet, Kelley wore a 1940's-styled suede jacket that had been custom designed by his stylist Gina Ketchum.
