Don't let the title fool you. The Band Perry's "Done" picked up the first CMT Music Award of the night on Wednesday (June 4) in Nashville.

"First of all, we want to thank all of the beautiful fans of country music. Tonight is all about you," Kimberly Perry said. "You are country music. Thank you so much for voting. We appreciate you."

Perry's brothers Reid and Neil also offered their thanks to management and label representatives, while Kimberly gave one more quick shout-out to director Declan Whitebloom.

The Band Perry's ambitious video treatment for "Done" felt like a medieval chess game come to life, with life-sized creatures squaring off. In addition, the family trio bonded with Fall Out Boy last year during an outstanding episode of CMT Crossroads.

The Band Perry will perform at LP Field on Friday as part of the CMA Music Festival. They'll resume their road work on June 20 in Austin on Blake Shelton's Ten Times Crazier tour.

"We live to play," Kimberly Perry stated in August, when announcing a world tour to support their newest album, Pioneer. "In our minds everything we do -- writing, recording, interviews, appearances -- is the means to the live end. To fully and totally understand our band, you have to see us live. It's the three of us in our element, our living room, our therapy session, our recess."

The album Pioneer also includes the singles "Better Dig Two" and "Don't Let Me Be Lonely." Their newest single is "Chainsaw." The Band Perry has also earned country hits with "If I Die Young," "You Lie" and "All Your Life."
