I wonder if Little Big Town's Jimi Westbrook and his wife and bandmate Karen Fairchild have a spare room in their house where we could crash for the weekend or maybe permanently move in and make ourselves part of their family.

I'm going on record and say they might just be some of the coolest parents on the planet.
Heck, all of the Little Big Town members could technically claim that title. Imagine having Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, or Westbrook and Fairchild as mom or dad. With any of them, you'd have a superstar parent with a voice like an angel and a heart of pure gold who can bring you to tears with a beautiful love song, party on a pontoon boat and isn't afraid to drench themselves in color paint during their performance on a major awards show.
And then there's that whole "growing-up-on-a-super-cool tour bus" thing.
Someday, Westbrook and Fairchild's 4-year-old son Elijah Dylan will probably look back at these moments in his parents' career and think to himself, "Man, my mom and dad were pretty incredible."
Of course, that's exactly how Westbrook feels about Elijah and the incredible opportunity to be his father. All the glitter and gold of country music stardom is great, but fatherhood is his pure joy.
In a recent interview, Westbrook said parenthood still feels like a new experience for him and Fairchild.
"I'm telling you, people can tell you all day long how great it's going to be, but it still never touches it," he said. "That little man looking back at me, it's the most unbelievable feeling."
That unbelievable feeling arrived when his son was born in March 2010 and only grows stronger each day.
"Every day, for me who hates mornings, waking up to a slap in the face," he says of his little alarm clock. "He's like pounding on me, then he's like kissing on me and stuff. It's unbelievable. It's absolutely beautiful."
