Maybe it's Little Big Town's new single "Day Drinking." Maybe it's the fact they're completely adorable. Maybe it's the fact they sing like angels.
Whatever the reason, America can't get enough of Little Big Town, and Blake Shelton is going to make sure America wants even more by bringing them to The Voice. In the upcoming season of the NBC series, the ACM and CMA-winning quartet will join Shelton's team as advisors to help mentor the aspiring superstar hopefuls.
Count on Shelton to keep it all in the country family. His wife Miranda Lambert, along with The Band Perry and Sheryl Crow, have all joined Team Blake in that same coveted role over the last several seasons.
You can even count on Adam Levine to keep it a little country, too. Remember when he snagged Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott as his mentor during season four? Oh, the burn to Team Blake!
As for Levine's choice advisor this season, he's taking it to another musical level altogether with the incomparable Stevie Nicks, a friend to Scott and her Lady A bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood.
Gwen Stefani seems to be taking some old cues from Shelton by inviting her husband, rocker Gavin Rossdale, to dispense some infinite musical wisdom to her team.
As for the final coach, Pharrell has yet to announce his advisor. We'll have to stay tuned and hope it's as epic as that Smokey the Bear hat he sported at this year's Grammy Awards.
Little Big Town are the perfect choice for Shelton since they're a wonderful blend of business, party and heart. Mix it all together, and it could be a total win for Team Blake.
Season seven of The Voice premieres Sept. 22.
