The choice was theirs, and I'd say American teens chose well. Taylor Swift, Hunter Hayes, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and Lucy Hale were among the country winners at Sunday night's (Aug. 10) Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

Swift took home the honors of choice female country artist, snagging the win from fellow nominees Jana Kramer, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood. And of course, the superstar dominated the red carpet in a flirty, green crop top and skirt by Novis.
Hayes beat out Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban to snag the title of choice male country artist. Lady Antebellum was named choice country group over Parmalee, The Band Perry, Zac Brown Band, and Florida Georgia Line, but the FGL boys bounced back for a win with "This Is How We Roll" featuring Bryan for choice country song.
Hale took home the honors for choice TV actress in the drama category for her role on the hit series, Pretty Little Liars. The Memphis-born beauty, who also worked the carpet in an adorable satin red minidress, recently launched her country music career with her debut album Road Between. As one of CMT's Next Women of Country, she is back on the airwaves with a brand new single, "Lie a Little Better."
Hale accepted her colorful surfboard trophy from The Band Perry. Of course, Kimberly Perry was also a standout in the fashion world that night, wearing a blue lace minidress as she strolled the red carpet.
Shelton's hit NBC show The Voice also won big for choice TV reality competition show.
