I should have known this would happen. Jimmy Fallon bought a 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch truck a few months ago, so it was inevitable he would eventually come up with a playlist for that pickup truck.

And on Friday night (Aug. 22), he revealed that playlist on The Tonight Show and Twitter.
The list is pretty extensive. It has 57 songs, which should take about three hours to listen to. So apparently, Fallon plans on going for some really, really long rides in his truck. And while some of the songs are cliché hell-yeah-I-drive-a-truck country songs, there are plenty of solid country songs that have nothing to do with being on the road.
Like Reba's "Fancy." Nothing like a song about child prostitution to pump you up on the way to work. Or "One's on the Way," Loretta Lynn's 1971 No. 1 tale of motherhood and housewifery.
So it's a well-rounded list, for sure.
Fallon made the list from his own personal favorites, then added some songs that were suggested by fans of The Tonight Show.
Some of my favorites from his list -- truck-related and otherwise -- are Joe Diffie's "Pickup Man," Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places," Eric Church's "Sinners Like Me," Dierks Bentley's "Cab of My Truck," Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now?!" and, even though it seems like it doesn't belong, Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou."
You can listen to the iHeartRadio playlist here, or just download the songs and make your own virtual mixtape.
