
Hot Dish
Crust:
2 pkgs. graham crackers crushed
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
Mix well and press into a 9 inch pie plate with fingers.
Pie:
4 eggs separated
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
Combine egg yolks, milk and lemon juice in a saucepan. Mix well and cook on low heat stirring constantly until it bubbles. Pour into crust.
Icing
Beat 4 egg whites with 1/2 t cream of tartar at high speed until foamy. Add 1/3 cup sugar one T at a time beating until stiff peaks form. Spread over pie. Bake at 325 in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
