Potatoes Romanoff

6 large potatoes peeled

2 cups cottage cheese

1 cup sour cream

2 cloves minced garlic

1 teaspoon salt

3 scallions finely chopped

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

½ stick melted butter

1/8 teaspoon paprika

Preheat oven to 350°.

Cook potatoes in water in a saucepan until tender. Drain, cool and cut in cubes. Combine potatoes, cottage cheese, sour cream, garlic, salt and scallions in a large bowl. Mix well. 
Spoon into greased 2 ½ -quart baking dish. Pour melted butter over top, sprinkle cheese and add paprika. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
