
Hot Dish
1/2 cup rice
4 cups of milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 300°.
Combine rice, milk, sugar and salt. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake at 300° for one hour, stirring several times. Add lemon, nutmeg and raisins. Bake 2 - 2 1/2 hours longer.
