Hot Dish
Butter casserole, slice and cover the bottom of dish with apples.
Sprinkle ½ cup sugar over apples.
Mix together the following ingredients:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Mix well. Sprinkle over apples. Melt ½ stick butter and pour over casserole. Bake at 350° until brown.
