
Hot Dish
4 large chicken breasts, cooked
3 cups broth
6 boiled eggs
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup buttermilk, warm
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 stick butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 400°.
Break cooked chicken into pieces. Place chicken in a 9x13 well-buttered casserole dish. Mix well soup and 1 cup broth. Pour over chicken. Pour over remaining broth. Peel boiled eggs, then slice and place over chicken. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Sprinkle over top of eggs. Melt butter and mix with warm milk. Drizzle over flour mixture. Do not stir. Bake 40-45 minutes at 400° until brown.
