Loretta Lynn will open her Coal Miner's Daughter Museum in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., on May 26 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony
and concert. Located on Lynn's ranch, the 18,000-square-foot museum features a mini-theater, boutique and room displays depicting
her school in Butcher Holler, Ky., and her first Nashville home. The Country Music Hall of Fame member's tour bus will be
on display, along with other automobiles that belonged to Lynn and her late husband, Mooney. Personal collectibles such as
awards and vintage clothes will be on exhibit, along with items that appeared in the film Coal Miner's Daughter. The
ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 1 p.m. at the museum's entrance. Lynn will perform at 8 p.m. at the Entertainment Pavilion.
The museum will be open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily through October and on weekends November through March.
