The Grand Ole Opry will salute the Country Music Hall of Fame on Saturday (May 19), two days after the Hall of Fame opens
its new museum in downtown Nashville. Hall of Fame members Little Jimmy Dickens and
Charley Pride are slated to appear. Among the evening's many tribute performances will
be Mandy Barnett's salute to Patsy Cline, Dean
Miller's tribute to his late father, Roger Miller, and Porter
Wagoner's tribute to Roy Acuff. Connie Smith,
the Osborne Brothers, Riders in the Sky, Charlie Walker,
Sherrié Austin, Chalee Tennison, Elizabeth
Cook, Billy Yates and The Whites also will honor Hall of Fame members.
