Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks have been hinting to Buck Owens for years that they would like one of his famous red, white and
blue acoustic guitars. This week, when they stopped off in Bakersfield, Calif., to have lunch with Owens, he surprised them
with gifts of customized Buck Owens Telecaster guitars, complete with gold engraved pick guards. The guitars were personally
inscribed as well. Each reads: "To Ronnie Dunn (Kix Brooks). Play In Good Health, Your Friend, Buck Owens, May 15, 2001".
