Top Country and Latin Music Songwriters Unite
Mark D. Sanders, co-writer of "I Hope You Dance," and Mark Wright, who produced the track, are among the country songwriters collaborating with a group of Miami-based Latin music hitmakers this week in Nashville. The Universal Music Publishing Group's "UMPG Nashville/Miami Song Camp" will include a free concert Thursday night (May 24) at Douglas Corner Café where the songwriters will showcase their new compositions. Also participating: Kostas, Rivers Rutherford, Gordon Kennedy, Angelo, Stephanie Bentley, Troy Verges, Monty Powell, Danny Orton and Al Sostrin. In the Miami contingent are: Soraya, Rodolfo Castillo, Pablo Manavello, Alejandro Lerner, Nichole Chirino and Oulgi Chirino.
