Darryl Worley will make his first parachute jump June 20 at Fort Campbell, Ky. Fellow
country singer Craig Morgan, a former Army paratrooper, will join Worley in the tandem
jump. Worley and Morgan will jump from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter at 13,000 feet, attached to members of the Golden Knights,
the Army's elite parachute team. "People ask me why I want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane," Worley says.
"You only go around once, and you have to seize every opportunity." Worley's new single is "Second Wind."
"I thought it was a neat tie-in," he says, laughing. 06/14/01
