A recording of a concert honoring John Hartford will be released July 10 as A Tribute to John Hartford Live From Mountain
Stage. Blue Plate Music is issuing the disc, recorded Sept. 24, 2000, at Nashville's War Memorial Auditorium. The concert
includes five performances by Hartford, who died June 4 in Nashville. Also among the performers: Kathy Mattea, Tim O'Brien,
Riders in the Sky, Norman Blake, John Cowan, The Jamie Hartford Band, Gillian Welch and Bela Fleck. The recording was captured
for the syndicated public radio program Mountain Stage. 07/02/01
