McEntire, Gilman Join Michael Jackson Recording
Reba McEntire and Billy Gilman have contributed their talents to Michael Jackson's all-star recording, "What More Can I Give." Proceeds from the single will aid survivors and families of victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. McEntire and Gilman recently recorded their parts in Los Angeles. Other participants include Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, Mya and 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake. Jackson was originally inspired to write "What More Can I Give" in 1999, after a meeting with Nelson Mandela. No release date has been set for the single, and the tune will not appear on Jackson's upcoming album, Invincible, out Oct. 30. 09/26/01
