Trace Adkins will be in New York City Tuesday (Oct. 2) to meet rescue workers at the World Trade Center site. His visit was
prompted by a request from a Navy public affairs officer. "I'm too old to join the Army," Adkins says in a statement. "What
I can do is offer my support and my thanks to the people who are working so hard at the site." 09/28/01
