Country Music Hall of Fame member Waylon Jennings is in a Phoenix area hospital where he underwent leg surgery late last week.
Concerts scheduled for Friday (Nov. 16) in Tucson and Saturday (Nov. 17) in Phoenix have been postponed. A hospital representative
said Jennings' "prognosis is good" and he should be able to return to regular activity soon. This is the second surgery Jennings
has undergone for treatment of the peripheral vascular disease that makes it hard for him to walk. "We were able to restore
circulation to his leg," the representative said, "and with further rest and rehabilitation, he'll be up and out of the hospital
soon ... and singing." 11/14/01
