Faith Hill has designed a platinum heart pendant necklace to be auctioned by Sotheby's for the benefit of the family of the
late Daniel Lee. A carpenter for the Backstreet Boys, Lee was killed Sept. 11 on American Flight 11 when it crashed into the
World Trade Center towers. In the Platinum Guild International USA's Women With Heart program (preciousplatinum.com), 22 celebrities
design original platinum necklaces to benefit the cause of their choice. Online bidding for the jewelry takes place Feb. 1-15
at sothebys.com, and a live auction is set for Feb. 12 at Sotheby's in Los Angeles. Hill's design is a "puffed heart with
diamond pavé trim." Other celebrities participating include Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears, Renee Zellweger and Catherine
Zeta Jones. 01/23/02
