CMT will launch a new, annual, fan-voted country music video awards show on June 12. The 2002 CMT Flameworthy Video Music
Awards will emanate from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville during Fan Fair week. The fan-voted awards show
that began as the Music City News Awards and last year became the TNN & CMT Country Weekly Music Awards will
no longer take place. The new awards show will be an extension of an interactive weekly series, CMT Flameworthy, which premieres on the cable network at 1 p.m. ET/PT Saturday (Feb. 2). Each half-hour
episode of CMT Flameworthy will feature viewer dedications -- via CMT.com -- scrolled alongside
