The International Bluegrass Music Museum will reopen permanently on April 11 in Owensboro, Ky., The Associated Press reports.
The museum opened in 1992 but closed in February 2000 for a $3 million renovation. Living members of the museum's Bluegrass
Hall of Honor have been invited to the opening. Bluegrass musicians will perform at the museum and around Owensboro on opening
night. A three-day festival will follow, April 12-14, at the Executive Inn Rivermont in Owensboro. 02/05/02
