Cousins Mickey Gilley, Jerry Lee Lewis and the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart will be inducted March 2 into the new Delta Music Museum
Hall of Fame in Ferriday, La. The ceremony will take place during the museum's grand opening. Jazz great Pee Wee Whittaker
will be inducted posthumously. Organizers have expressed the hope that Gilley, Lewis and Swaggart will take the stage together.
The event also kicks off the Lousiana Music Cavalcade, a "traveling music festival" sponsored by Secretary of State W. Fox
McKeithen. The event, featuring different entertainment at each stop, will continue through the spring. The Cavalcade stops
May 4 at Shreveport's historic Municipal Auditorium, home of the Louisiana Hayride. 02/12/02
