Waylon Jennings was laid to rest in a cemetery in Mesa, Ariz., Friday morning (Feb. 15), according to the Arizona Republic.
Mesa is a suburb of Phoenix, where Jennings and his wife Jessi Colter lived. Burial followed a private funeral ceremony.A
spokeswoman for the Jennings family said that details should be final sometime next week about a public memorial service to
be held in Nashville soon. 02/15/02
