Loretta Lynn, 67, was taken to a Fort Worth area hospital Saturday night (Feb. 23) after experiencing severe abdominal pains
before a scheduled concert at Billy Bob's Texas. She was released the same night and her personal physician examined her when
she returned to Nashville on Sunday (Feb. 24). "He said it was just an intestinal virus -- something a little bit of time
and rest will take care of," Lynn's spokeswoman told CMT.com Monday (Feb. 25). Lynn did not cancel
any other dates, and she plans to attend her induction ceremony into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame on Thursday (Feb. 28).
Lynn's postponed appearance at Billy Bob's Texas is expected to be rescheduled soon. 02/25/02
