Country singer-songwriter Kasey Chambers, who is six months pregnant, is resting at home in Australia after collapsing on
stage from heat exhaustion in San Francisco Wednesday (Feb. 20). "She is fine and her baby is fine," her spokesman at Warner
Bros. told CMT.com. Chambers, 25, spent about 10 days in the U.S. to meet with reporters and play
a handful of concerts in support of her second solo album, Barricades & Brickwalls. She fell ill and fainted three
songs into her set at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco. Two doctors in the audience examined her. The singer performed one
more song and left the stage on the advice of a doctor. Chambers flew home Thursday (Feb. 21), canceling one show in Seattle,
per doctor's orders. In early February, Chambers told CMT.com that she was looking forward to spending
some time off at home being a mother. She plans to return to the U.S. in the fall. More
