The soundtrack for The Rookie (Hollywood), issued Tuesday (March 26), includes new recordings by Steve Earle and guitarist
Duane Jarvis. The Walt Disney movie, starring Dennis Quaid, bows in theaters nationwide on Friday (March 29). Earle's song
is the subject of a video debuting Friday on CMT Most Wanted Live. Jarvis, who has played guitar for Lucinda Williams
and John Prine, among others, contributes "There Is a Light." Other tracks come from Willie Nelson, Allison Moorer, Guy Clark,
John Hiatt, John Fogerty and Paul Burch & the WPA Ballclub. 03/27/02
