Tammy Cochran Gets Politically Incorrect
Tammy Cochran will appear April 16 on Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. She was selected for the television show, which tapes in Los Angeles, because of her "outspoken views and tireless work to raise money and awareness for cystic fibrosis," according to her publicist. Cystic fibrosis claimed the lives of her brothers, Shawn and Alan, whom she honors in her hit single, "Angels in Waiting." Cochran will appear with Jimmy "JJ" Walker of television's Good Times, Courtney B. Vance from Law & Order: Criminal Intent and columnist Jane Chastain. The next day, April 17, Cochran will be in New York to perform "I Cry" at the 2002 National Gracie Allen Awards, presented by American Women in Radio and Television for exemplary women's programming in broadcast and electronic media. Joan Rivers will host. 04/11/02
