Wynette's Daughters Settle Suit With Doctor
The Tennessean reports that the daughters of Tammy Wynette have reached an out-of-court settlement of their lawsuit against the doctor who treated their mother for six years before her death. Tina Jones, Jackie Daly, Georgette Smith and Gwen Nicholas had asked for $50 million in damages from Dr. Wallis Marsh, a Pennsylvania physician. Both sides in the suit have agreed to confidentiality. Wynette died in 1998 at age 55. 04/18/02
