for an upcoming Jennings tribute, CMT's Country Countdown USA reports. "We're all big Waylon fans," Vassar tells Lon
Helton, host of the weekly countdown show which airs on radio stations nationally this weekend (Aug. 3-4). "It's fun to work
with people who love what they do." Vassar's hometown of Lynchburg, Va., will name a street after the singer as part of festivities
surrounding a homecoming concert Sept. 20. Vassar releases his second album, American Child, Aug. 6. 07/31/02
