Already a pitchman for a long distance phone service, Toby Keith will be touting the virtues of Ford trucks in an upcoming
advertising campaign. Keith provided an original song for the television commercials that will premiere this fall. Within
the song, Keith quotes his late father with the lyrics, "I'd rather walk 10 miles, be down on my luck, than drive around the
block in another kind of truck." Keith says he is a third-generation Ford truck owner. Keith previously gained national exposure
alongside Terry Bradshaw and Mike Piazza in national ad campaigns for the 10-10-220 long distance service. 08/20/02
