Nelson Cancels Opry Appearance
Willie Nelson has cancelled additional performances, including a Saturday (Sept. 14) appearance on the Grand Ole Opry, after being hospitalized last week for treatment of a ruptured blood vessel in his nose. According to Nelson's Web site, the singer-songwriter is resting at home and plans to resume touring with a Sept. 20 concert in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Nelson is still scheduled to perform at Farm Aid 2002, set for Sept. 21 near Pittsburgh. 09/10/02
