Black, Urban Join Richard Marx at Benefit
Clint Black and Keith Urban performed at a benefit concert for Cystic Fibrosis in Nashville on Tuesday night (Oct. 1). Pop star Richard Marx assembled the line-up and harmonized on Urban's hit "Somebody Like You." Other performers included Steve Cropper, Nick Lachey (of pop group 98 Degrees) and Emerson Drive ("I Should Be Sleeping"). Actor Ronn Moss (The Bold and the Beautiful) hosted the dinner concert and charity auction that raised more than $100,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research. Black's wife, Lisa Hartman Black, offered an $8,000 bid -- the highest of the night -- to purchase a Wurlitzer grand piano used during the concert. 10/02/02
