Rhonda Vincent, the Country Gentlemen and J. D. Crowe & the New South are among the more than 30 major bluegrass acts who
will perform during the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America's 26th annual convention and awards show.
The event, which includes showcases, workshops and exhibits, will be held Jan. 30-Feb. 2 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel
in Nashville. One feature of the event will be a contest for best bluegrass band. Other acts scheduled to perform include
IIIrd Tyme Out, James Monroe & the Midnight Ramblers, the Larry Stephenson Band, Ronnie Bowman, the Lonesome River Band, the
Wildwood Valley Boys, the Larkins, Blue Highway, the Nashville Bluegrass Band, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and many others.
