Martina McBride will film a video in Nashville next week for "Concrete Angel," the song she performed at the CMA awards on Wednesday (Nov. 7.) McBride told reporters backstage, "The first time I heard it, I was so moved. It's just the story of this hero, this little girl who has to overcome such obstacles. It makes me think of every child in the world who has to face things we can never even imagine. It's so wrong and so unfair. It brings up all those emotions and it's a really special song. I'm lucky that I got to record it and that I got to sing it tonight." Reluctant to give more details about the video, McBride added, "It's gonna be really beautiful." 11/7/02
