A bluegrass prodigy and the lead singer of an '80s "hair band" will be making appearances this weekend on the Grand Ole Opry.
Sierra Hull, an 11-year-old mandolin player from Pickett County, Tenn., performs Saturday night (Nov. 16) in a segment featuring
Alison Krauss & Union Station. Krauss and Hull perform in the segment to be televised on Grand
Ole Opry Live at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. The segment will also feature Jerry Douglas, Travis Tritt, Chris Cagle and Mike
Snider. Andy Griggs is making a Friday night (Nov. 15) Opry appearance with musical collaborator Tom Keifer, frontman for
the '80s rock band, Cinderella. Griggs and Keifer plan to perform "A Hundred Miles of Bad Road," which they wrote and recorded
for Griggs' latest album, Freedom. Their set list also includes
a country version of Cinderella's ballad, "Don't Know What You've Got ('Til It's Gone)." 11/15/02
