The Tracy Byrd Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Center will be dedicated Thursday (Dec. 19) in his hometown of Beaumont,
Texas. The facility at CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital is being supported by funds raised for the Children's Miracle Network
during Byrd's annual homecoming weekend that includes a concert, along with fishing and golf tournaments. Brenda Drago of
the Children's Miracle Network says, "Tracy is our miracle come true for brain injured children." Hyperbaric treatment provides
a boost to those with cerebral palsy or brain injuries. Byrd will be present for the blessing and dedication of the center
that will be open for patients in January. 12/18/02
